ALGIERS- The minister of Sports has confirmed that the Africa Athletics Championships 2025 (U18 and U20) will be held on July 14-18, 2025 in Oran (432-km west of Algiers); with the participation of over 500 athletes.

The confirmation of the sports ministry has categorically refuted the allegations and false information concerning the organisation of this Africa Athletics Championship.

The Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) will hold its annual congress in Oran on July 12-13, 2025, that is, the eve of the kick-off of this African continental event.
