TIRANA, October 27/ATA/ Lara Colturi, the skier of “Tirana” sport club competing for Albania has qualified for the final in Women’s Sölden Giant Slalom.

After the successes in wrestling and athletics, the athletes of “Tirana” sport club continue to achieve excellent results in international competitions for Albania and the Red and Blacks colors. Now, there is the talented skier Lara Colturi, competing for Albania, who managed to qualify for the final in Women’s Sölden Giant Slalom.

The skier is ranked the 16th in the table of the Race Results from the October 26th Women’s Sölden Giant Slalom. The next stop is on November 16 in Levi.

Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj said that the attention to Albanian athletes is yielding the expected results, both in wrestling and athletics, and now also in skiing.

"We started this summer in Paris, where our two wrestlers brought the first Olympic medals for Albania. I am very happy today that the support of the Municipality of Tirana, with Lara, our champion, has taken her to the 16 best in the world. Considering Lara is half the age of the world's best, it means the future is ahead.
