Temperatures will gradually rise up until Saturday, 12 October, according to the latest data of Athens National Observatory's meteo.gr weather service.
The atmospheric circulation will favour the transfer of warm air masses to Greece in the next few days. The heat wave is expected to reach its peak on Friday, 11 October, when the temperature is expected to reach as high as 32-34 Celsius.
