ANSA - Italian house prices rose 4% in second quarter says Istat

Growth in property prices slowed with respect to first three months of 2025 - stats agency

Italian house prices rose by 4% in the second quarter of 2026 with respect to the same period last year, down from year-on-year growth of 5.1% in the first quarter, Istat said on Thursday.
    The national statistics agency said the growth in property prices was especially strong in Turin, where there was a year-over-year increase of 8.5%, up from 3.8% in the first quarter.
    Next came Rome, with a year-over-year increase of 6.4%, up from 5.5% in the first quarter.
    House prices in Milan were up 2.4%, a sharp slowdown from 7.1% year-on-year growth registered in the previous quarter.
