Istat said Tuesday that the growth in Italian exports slowed in July.
The national statistics agency said exports were up by 0.3% with respect to June, having posted a rise of 1.6% the previous month.
It said exports were up by 4.7% in value with respect to July 2025, after rising by 9.8% in year-on-year terms in June.
It said year-on-year exports down by 1.7% in volume in July, having risen by 5.1% in June.
Istat said imports dropped by 1.2% with respect to June but were up by 4.6% compared to July 2025.
The agency said Italy had a trade surplus of 8.240 billion euros in July, a figure which rises to 13.756 billion excluding energy.
