Napoli coach Massimiliano Allegri said his side must not get demoralized after they lost their opening Champions League game 1-0 at home to Arsenal on Wednesday, making it three defeats in a row for the Naples team, following losses to Inter and Como in Serie A.
    A second-half strike by Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard earned victory for the English title-holders.
    "In my opinion, we gave a good performance against one of the best teams in Europe," Allegri told Prime Video.
    "The first half was very evenly matched, and our ball possession was good too.
    "They upped the tempo later on, but we defended well; if we had defended like that against Inter or Como, those results might have been different.
    "We are disappointed by the three consecutive defeats, but we have to take the positives.
    "We mustn't get disheartened; it's right to feel disappointed and angry about the loss, but the lads played a good game".
