Italy's Chiara Pellacani made history on Tuesday by winning a record fourth gold medal at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris with victory in the women's 3m springboard diving.
That enabled her to beat the mark of three golds set by another Italian diver, the now-retired Tania Cagnotto, in London in 2016.
In Paris Pellacani also won gold in the 1 m springboard, in the mixed 3 m springboard synchro with Matteo Santoro, and in the mixed team event with Santoro, Sarah Jodoin Di Maria and Raffaele Pelligra.
