NNA - China's Embassy in Beirut hosted a seminar on "The Role of Political Parties in State Governance and Administration," attended by representatives of Lebanese political parties, think tanks, and media organizations.

During the seminar, Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Chen Chuandong outlined President Xi Jinping's remarks delivered at a conference marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

In his address, Ambassador Chuandong praised exchanges between Chinese and Lebanese political parties, saying the CPC supports all Lebanese parties in upholding the principles of independence and self-reliance, pursuing a development path suited to Lebanon's national circumstances, fostering broad social consensus, and working together to safeguard Lebanon's sovereignty, security, and unity, and ensuring that the nation's destiny fate remains in the hands of the Lebanese people. He added that China will continue to provide Lebanon with sincere and genuine assistance.

Participants in the seminar congratulated the CPC on its 105th anniversary and discussed experiences in state governance and public administration, a dialogue that contributes to strengthening Lebanese-Chinese relations across various fields.
