NNA - Culture Minister, Ghassan Salameh, on Thursday received Spain’s newly appointed ambassador to Lebanon, Miguel María de Lucas González, at the National Library in Beirut.
The meeting reviewed the general situation and bilateral relations, with a particular focus on cultural cooperation between Lebanon and Spain.
Describing the talks as "excellent" and "productive," the ambassador said discussions covered cooperation among Mediterranean cultural cities, exchanges involving Phoenician heritage groups from both countries, and efforts to strengthen ties between cultural institutions. The two sides also discussed a possible visit by Salameh to Spain and ways to further deepen cultural and bilateral cooperation.
