ATA - Customs revenues increase to 62.1 billion lek in March–May period

TIRANA, June 15 /ATA/ The customs revenues collected by the Customs Administration during the March–May 2026 period reached 62.1 billion ALL, exceeding the planned target and marking an increase compared to the same period last year.

 

According to data published by the General Directorate of Customs, revenue performance reached 101.9% of the plan, or 1.1 billion ALL above the target set for the period.

 

Compared with the March–May 2025 period, customs revenues were 3 billion ALL higher, reflecting positive trends in trade activity and the performance of the customs administration.

The quarterly indicators also show a 5.2% increase in revenues compared with the same period last year.

 

The Customs Administration said the results reflect strengthened fiscal management, improved efficiency in revenue collection, and enhanced control and monitoring processes for goods at customs points.
