The investment is expected to improve visitor services, educational activities, cultural programmes and local economic opportunities, contributing to sustainable development and the promotion of the archaeological park and surrounding communities.
During the meeting, participants reviewed progress and discussed next steps in the implementation of the project, noting that results are becoming increasingly tangible, including the establishment of the Bylis-Klos Archaeological Park and the approval of its management framework.
Key milestones include the adoption of a conservation plan, the implementation of local development grants supporting community-based initiatives, and the advancement of strategic investments aimed at strengthening the protection and management of the site.
Ahead of the meeting, participants also visited the “School of the Construction Site” initiative, developed in cooperation with the Polytechnic University of Milan and the University of Tirana.
