ANSA - Ferrari presents its first all-electric car - Luce

Inaugurating a chapter that turns our vision into reality says Elkann

Ferrari has presented its first all-electric car - Luce, which is the Italian word for 'light'.
The car is powered by four electric engines, one per wheel, and is equipped with a high‑capacity 122 kWh battery.
The legendary Italian carmaker said technologies derived from its experience in motor racing enabled it to contain Luce's kerb weight at 2260 kg, helping deliver best‑in‑class performance.
It is capable of going from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, and 0-200 km/h in 6.8 seconds, it has a top speed over 310 km/h and a range in excess of 530 km.
The Luce will go on sale with a list price of 550,000 euros and the first deliveries are scheduled for the end of 2026.
"With Ferrari Luce, we are once again redefining the limits of what is possible," said Ferrari President John Elkann.
"Today, we are not simply unveiling a new car, we are inaugurating a chapter that turns our vision into reality, strengthening Ferrari's tradition of anticipating and shaping the future".
The stock market did not give the new model a warm welcome.
Ferrari's share price fell by 6.6% to 289 euros in early trading on Tuesday.
