ALGIERS- The National People's Assembly (lower house of Parliament) will participate in the annual forum of the Mediterranean and Middle East Special Group (GSM) of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA), scheduled to take place in Rome, Italy, from May 11 to 13, the Lower House of Parliament said Sunday in a statement.

The National People's Assembly will be represented at the meeting by MPs Ayoub Hammad and Mohamed Faouzi Ben Djaballah, the statement added.

The Lower House of Parliament holds "associate Mediterranean partner" status with the body.
