NNA - Finance Minister, Yassine Jaber, on Friday continued a series of high-level meetings in Washington on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, focusing on support for Lebanon’s economic, financial and humanitarian challenges and advancing reform efforts.

The Lebanese delegation met IMF Deputy Managing Director Nigel Clarke, who stressed the need for clear reform vision and accelerated implementation.

Jaber also held talks with UK official Nick Dyer on bilateral cooperation and support programs.

Meetings were also held with the International Finance Corporation and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to boost private sector activity, investment and infrastructure support.
