TIRANA, April 16/ATA/ A delegation from the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (ENSP) toured the Albanian Telegraphic Agency premises, where they gained in-depth insight into the institution’s photographic archive.

During a meeting with Director-General Valbona Zhupa, the guests expressed an interest and praised the expert conservation of the ATA photo collection, recognizing its immense historical value.

Accompanying the ENSP guests on this visit was also Director of the “Marubi” National Museum of Photography Lucian Bedeni.

During the conversation, Zhupa highlighted that ATA is in an advanced stage of digitizing its extensive photographic archive, aiming to soon provide public access to one of the nation’s three most critical cultural collections.

As part of their working visit to Albania, ENSP representatives visited ATA, following meetings with Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sports Blendi Gonxhja and various cultural institution leaders.

ENSP and the “Marubi” Museum are joining forces to advance photography and art education through sustainable, concrete initiatives. Their collaboration focuses on fostering creativity through artistic residencies, shared exhibitions, academic exchange, and the launch of a dedicated analog photography lab for research and education.

This partnership bridges tradition and innovation, empowering young creatives while internationalizing Albania’s photography sector. /p.s./
