The Summit kicked off yesterday and will continue on 14 and 15 April under the motto “Through our roots, we rise.” It constitutes both a symbolic and substantive unification of Albanian communities, bringing together representatives of the diaspora, state institutions, the business sector, academia, and civil society, with the objective of further strengthening the ties between Albania and Albanians residing abroad.

Particular attention will be devoted to the preservation of cultural and linguistic identity, the engagement of diaspora youth in social and political developments, and the building of sustainable bridges of communication among Albanian professionals worldwide.
The panels will further address the challenges and opportunities associated with digitalization, sustainable development, and the enhancement of public policies for the diaspora, with the aim of fostering a shared vision for the future and strengthening the bonds among Albanians wherever they reside.
