ORAN- The 16th International Tourism, Travel and Transport Show (SIAHA 2026) will be held from April 21 to 23 at the Mohamed Benahmed Convention Center in Oran, the organizers announced on Monday.
The event, held under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism and Handiscafts, Houria Meddahi, and the Wali (Governor) of Oran, Ibrahim Ouchan, is expected to bring together more than 200 exhibitors from various tourism-related sectors, according to a press kit from Astra, the communications and events agency organizing the fair.
The economic event will feature two main pavilions. The first will focus on tourism, travel, transport, tourism agencies, hotels, booking platforms, airlines and maritime transport companies, tourism offices, banking and insurance institutions, medical tourism services, as well as hospitality and tourism training schools.
The second pavilion will feature hotel equipment and catering services, showcasing locally produced professional kitchen equipment and ovens, textiles, bedding, hospitality supplies, and laundry equipment, as well as handicrafts and food products.
According to the organizers, the national event is intended as a key platform for exchange among professionals and stakeholders across the tourism sector, while also showcasing Algeria’s tourism potential, traditional crafts, and locally produced hotel and catering equipment.
