TIRANA, Feb 25 /ATA/ - Albania will increase its troop contribution to the NATO-led Kosovo Force, KFOR, by adding an air component to its deployment, the country’s top military officer said on Wednesday.
Chief of the General Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, announced the move at a joint news conference with Defence Minister Pirro Vengu.
Kingji said the additional contribution would include a Cougar helicopter with pilot and technical crew, as well as operational support elements.
