TIRANA, Feb 3 /ATA/ Albania as a tourist destination once again makes the headlines of international media, this time through an article published by the renowned French magazine, GEO Magazine.
While sharing the article on Tuesday, Prime Minister Edi Rama remarked that Albania is portrayed as a diverse destination, featuring beaches, mountains, breathtaking natural landscapes, and a rich cultural and historical heritage, shaped by Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Venetian, and Ottoman influences.
The article also highlights the legacy of the Canon, a mysterious medieval code of honor, as well as the architectural grandeur of Tirana.
The Prime Minister emphasized that this diverse tourism offering has resulted in an 80% increase in the number of foreign visitors to Albania over the past five years.
The prestigious French magazine GEO Magazine refers to our country as the "new pearl of the Mediterranean" while showcasing the key tourist destinations within Albania.
