CNA - الرئيس خريستوذوليديس يعلن عن الحوار مع مجتمع الأعمال وحملة تغيير العلامة التجارية
أعرب رئيس الجمهورية نيكوس خريستودوليديس عن اقتناعه أنه رغم التطورات الإقليمية والجيوسياسية المتعددة، بإمكان قبرص أن تتعامل بنجاح مع البيئة الدولية التنافسية وغير المستقرة وغير المتوقعة، وأن تكون كنا هو مخطط لها في "رؤية 2035"، أن تكون واحدة من أفضل الأماكن في العالم للعيش والعمل والقيام بالأعمال التجارية.
كما أعلن عن حوار مؤسسي مع رواد الأعمال القبارصة وتقرر عقد الاجتماع الأول في نهاية شهر أيار/مايو في القصر الرئاسي بمشاركة مجلس الوزراء، وأن وكالة "استثمر في قبرص" ستطلق حملة كبيرة لتغيير العلامة التجارية لقبرص.
أشار الرئيس في خطابه مساء الخميس في الدورة السادسة عشرة "لجوائز الأعمال لعام 2023"، إلى أنه تم في الوقت نفسه توسيع الأساس الإنتاجي لاقتصادنا، مع إنشاء نموذج نمو جديد من شأنه أن يضمن اقتصاداً أكثر مرونة واستدامة وقادر على التنافس، وأن تكون الاستفادة من التعليم والتكنولوجيا والرقمنة والاقتصاد الأخضر في وضع عال جداً لأولويات الحكومة.
وأكد كذلك أن الشرط الأساسي لتحقيق الأهداف الطموحة هو المسؤولية المالية، والبيئة المالية المستقرة والقوية والإصلاحات الجريئة المستمرة. وأوضح الرئيس خريستوذوليديس أنه في هذا السياق ومن أجل تحقيق أهدافنا فإن الشركات القبرصية هي في قلب جهود الحكومة.
وقال أيضاً إن الاجتماعات الهادفة مع رجال الأعمال الأجانب أدت إلى اعتماد حوافز محسنة لجذب المزيد من الاستثمارات الجيدة في قبرص، مضيفاً أن الحكومة بدأت الحوار المؤسسي مع رجال الأعمال القبارصة، بهدف الاستفادة من خبرتهم ومعرفتهم الطويلة، لعرض الركائز التي يجب أن تستثمر فيها الدولة والعمل معاً على أساس أهداف وغايات محددة.
استطرد الرئيس قائلاً إنه من المقرر عقد الاجتماع الأول نهاية أيار/مايو الجاري في القصر الجمهوري بمشاركة مجلس الوزراء.، مشيراً إلى أنه في هذا السياق أطلقت الحكومة جهود التحول الضريبي في البلاد بهدف تعزيز القدرة التنافسية للاقتصاد.
كما أعرب الرئيس عن اعتزازه بكثرة الشركات المحلية التي تظهر المسؤولية الاجتماعية، وتستثمر في تعليم وتدريب موظفيها وتدعم المشاريع الخيرية وتعزز الاستدامة البيئية وتنمية الثقافة، مما يساهم في تحسين الحياة اليومية لمواطنينا.
في الختام، أكد الرئيس أن الدولة ستواصل دعم الشركات القبرصية لضمان أن تتمتع ريادة الأعمال بجميع الأدوات اللازمة لمواصلة النمو والتطور ومواجهة أي تحديات لصالح المجتمع القبرصي.
