CNA - رئيسة مجلس النواب تطالب نظرائها في الاتحاد الأوروبي بدعم التدابير لإدارة تدفقات الهجرة

أطلعت رئيسة مجلس النواب أنيتا ديميتريو نظراءها في الاتحاد الأوروبي على الوضع في الشرق الأوسط والهجرة، وذلك في سياق مؤتمر رؤساء برلمانات الاتحاد الأوروبي الذي اختتم أعماله يوم الثلاثاء في بالما دي مايوركا. وطلبت ديميتريو دعمهم فيما يتعلق بمساعدة لبنان لإدارة تدفق المهاجرين السوريين وإعادة تقييم الوضع في سوريا.

وفقاً لبيان صحفي صادر عن مجلس النواب، أطلعت رئيسة المجلس نظراءها في مداخلتها، على الاجتماع الأول لرؤساء برلمانات الدول الأعضاء في جنوب الاتحاد الأوروبي (قبرص واليونان وفرنسا وإيطاليا وإسبانيا والبرتغال ومالطا) الذي جرى في نفس اليوم، وكان موضوع النقاش هو الزيادة المثيرة للقلق في التدفقات السورية من لبنان إلى قبرص، والتي كما أشارت قد تفاقم بسبب الأزمة في الشرق الأوسط.

كما أشارت ديميتريو إلى الوضع في الشرق الأوسط الذي يتصاعد بشكل خطير مع مشاركة دول أخرى، لافتة إلى أن التوترات المتزايدة التي لا تظهر أي علامات على التراجع في المستقبل القريب، تثير احتمال حدوث أزمة هجرة جديدة تجاه الاتحاد الأوروبي.

طلبت ديميتريو مساعدة الدول الأعضاء في الاتحاد الأوروبي من خلال تقديم المساعدة إلى لبنان، بهدف وقف تدفق السوريين الذين يغادرون شواطئ البلاد والمساهمة في الجهود المبذولة لإعادة تقييم الوضع في سوريا، حتى يمكن لبعض المناطق التي تعتبر حالياً غير آمنة لعودة طالبي اللجوء إلى وطنهم، أن تصنف على أنها مناطق آمنة، من أجل تحقيق وقف وضع الحماية القانونية التلقائية.

في هذا الصدد، أكدت رئيس مجلس النواب على ضرورة التنفيذ الكامل لخطة عمل الاتحاد الأوروبي التي تم اعتمادها مؤخراً لطريق شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط، والتي تتوقع وجوداً معززاً لفرونتكس ويوروبول في المنطقة. وأشارت إلى أنه من الأهمية بمكان أن يتصرف الاتحاد الأوروبي بشكل حاسم لوقف التدفقات المستمرة إلى قبرص وبالتالي إلى الاتحاد الأوروبي.

كما أكدت ديميتريو في الوقت نفسه على ضرورة تعزيز الشراكات مع دول المنشأ والعبور الرئيسية على مستوى الدول الأعضاء وعلى مستوى الاتحاد الأوروبي وأشارت بشكل خاص إلى حالة لبنان وضرورة إبرام اتفاقيات، كما حدث في عام 2018 في حالة مصر، من أجل السيطرة على تدفقات الهجرة واحتوائها. وقالت إن مراقبة سواحل لبنان من قبل وكالة فرونتكس، بمشاركة اليوروبول للتصدي لشبكات التهريب أصبحت أمرا حتمياً.

وأخيراً، أشارت إلى أن ميثاق الاتحاد الأوروبي الجديد بشأن الهجرة واللجوء على الرغم من أنه خطوة مهمة وإيجابية، إلا أنه ليس كافياً لأنه لا يتناول طلب قبرص بشأن عمليات إعادة التوزيع. وشددت على ضرورة إظهار الوحدة في هذا الشأن.
