CNA - البرلمان القبرصي يطالب الحكومة والاتحاد الأوروبي باتخاذ إجراءات محددة بشأن الهجرة

أصدرت الجلسة العامة لمجلس النواب القبرصي التي ناقشت يوم الخميس القضية الملحة للهجرة، قراراً يدعو الحكومة والاتحاد الأوروبي إلى اتخاذ إجراءات ملموسة فيما يتعلق بأزمة الهجرة المستمرة.

رحب القرار بموافقة الاتحاد الأوروبي على ميثاق الهجرة واللجوء وحث الحكومة على تكثيف جهودها على مستوى الاتحاد الأوروبي فيما يتعلق بالتحديات التي تفرضها تدفقات الهجرة المستمرة غير النظامية من الدول المجاورة، ولا سيما لبنان.

دعا البرلمان الحكومة إلى حث الاتحاد الأوروبي على اتخاذ خطوات فورية وحاسمة لتكثيف مراقبة الوكالة الأوروبية لخفر السواحل والحدود والتواصل المستمر مع لبنان، وتعديل إجراءات اللجوء للسوريين على وجه السرعة، مع وجود مناطق محددة أمنة في سوريا الآن.

كما حث البرلمان الحكومة على استكشاف التعاون مع مصر في الإدارة المشتركة لتدفقات الهجرة غير النظامية والسعي للحصول على دعم مالي من الاتحاد الأوروبي لمصر. وطالب أيضاً بآليات إعادة توزيع اللاجئين على أساس التضامن بين الدول الأعضاء لتخفيف العبء على دول خط المواجهة.

طالب القرار الحكومة أيضاً باتخاذ تدابير فورية بشكل فعال لمكافحة الأنشطة غير القانونية للمتاجرين من خلال فرض العقوبات الصارمة. ودعا الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى لعب دور حاسم في الحد من تدفقات الهجرة من خلال التعامل مباشرة مع الحكومة اللبنانية لمعالجة هذه القضية.

حث البرلمان الاتحاد الأوروبي على مساءلة تركيا عن الوفاء بالتزاماتها للحد من تدفقات الهجرة، على النحو المبين في استنتاجات المجلس الأوروبي الصادرة في أكتوبر 2021، وانه ينبغي على الاتحاد الأوروبي أيضاً ممارسة الضغط على تركيا لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لمنع الهجرة غير الشرعية ومراقبة تنفيذها عن كثب. وقال إن الاتحاد الأوروبي مدعو أيضاً لتعزيز ومساعدة دول مثل مصر وليبيا وتونس في مكافحة المتاجرين بالبشر بشكل فعال من أجل وقف تدفقات الهجرة غير النظامية.
