MAP - Moroccan Hospital in Beirut, Generous Royal Gesture to Relieve Pain of Lebanese People

Beirut-August 13,2020-(MAP)-The field military Hospital that Morocco has deployed in Beirut, on the high instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, to provide emergency care to the wounded following the tragic explosion in the port of the capital, is a generous royal gesture aimed at relieving the pain of the Lebanese people.

This hospital, which reflects the noble values of the Kingdom's active solidarity with this country, embodies HM the King's constant desire to enshrine the Kingdom's model of solidarity and synergy with brotherly countries throughout the world.
The Moroccan hospital, which began yesterday to provide its medical services to the Lebanese people, also embodies the firm commitment of HM King Mohammed VI to provide medical assistance to Lebanon to help it overcome the difficult situation it is going through.
This facility, which also reflects the spirit of solidarity and strengthens the ties of cooperation between the two countries, is made up of 150 people, including 45 doctors from various specialties (resuscitators, surgeons, traumatologists, ENT specialists, ophthalmologists, burns treatment, neurosurgeons, pediatricians, pharmacists), as well as specialized nurses and support elements.
The hospital houses an operating theatre, hospitalization, radiology and sterilization units, a laboratory, a pharmacy and sanitary, administrative and logistical facilities.
Deployed on the high instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the hospital intends to provide medical services to those injured in the explosion that shook the port of Beirut, and to help them overcome the repercussions of this tragedy, the director of the field hospital, Professor ChekKar Kacem, told MAP.
This medical facility has all the means to treat those injured in the disaster that struck the port of the Lebanese capital, he said.
