ATA - Govt. injects 30.16 billion financing for priority sectors of economy




TIRANA,July 7/ATA/The government has drafted another Normative Act to change the 2020 budget as a result of the situation created by COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the report in the Normative Act, which has been submitted to parliament for discussion, with the main goal of injecting funding to priority sectors of the economy, specifically through public investment, budget expenditures will increase by about 30.16 billion lek.

The Ministry of Finance has foreseen the allocation of fund in the amount of 4 billion ALL for expropriation expenses and repayment of arrears in the infrastructure sector, as well as additional financing of 1 billion ALL for the water supply and sewerage sector in the country.

In addition, an additional fund of 3 billion ALL is allocated to the ADF for development programs.
The accompanying report of the Normative Act states that a fund of 2 billion ALL is allocated for the major project of the New Ring Road of Tirana, while a funding of 800 million ALL goes to the Erseka Road project.

For the study and design of the Llogara tunnel, the government has foreseen a financing of 600 million ALL, while a financing of 500 million ALL goes to the study-design of dormitories by the Municipality of Tirana.

Tepelena Bypass will receive a financing of 300 mln lek, whereas a fund of 573 million lek is allocated for purchase of equipment and adjustment of the SPAK building.

About 100 million ALL are projected to go to the projects of irrigation / drainage canals and a financing of 73 million ALL for the study-design of the axis Shqiponja Square-New Boulevard.
