Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stock market closes Wednesday with PSI20 index down 1.89% in line

Lisbon,Apr.1,2020(Lusa)-The Lisbon stock market closed down on Wednesday after two positive sessions, with the PSI20 index down 1.89% to 3,992.69 points, in line with the negative trend in the main European markets.
Of the 18 companies listed on the PSI20, 13 went down and five went up. Jerónimo Martins (retailer) led the fallers and lost 4.59% to €15.69.
In the rest of Europe, the losses were more significant. London fell 3.83%, Paris 4.30%, Frankfurt 3.94%, Madrid 3.04% and Milan 2.97%.
