وقعت قبرص وائتلاف الشركات الحاصلة على ترخيص حقل افروديت اليوم الخميس عقداً جديداً معدلاً حول حقوق استغلال الحقل، بما يفتح الطريق لبدء إنتاج الغاز الطبيعي في عام 2025، مما يحقق إيرادات متوقعة لقبرص قدرها 9.3 مليار دولار على مدى ثمانية عشر عاماً.
هذا الترخيص لإنتاج الغاز هو الأول من نوعه الذي تم توقيعه في المنطقة الاقتصادية الخالصة لقبرص ويستند إلى خطة التطوير والإنتاج النهائية لأفروديت المتفق عليها بين السلطات القبرصية واتحاد نوبل للطاقة وشل ودليك.
إنه بناء على الخطة، سيتم نقل الغاز الطبيعي من أفروديت عبر خط أنابيب تحت البحر إلى محطة إيدكو لتسييل الغاز الطبيعي في مصر حيث سيتم تسييله وتصديره إلى الأسواق الأوروبية والدولية، وهو خيار تعتبره وزارة الطاقة الخيار الأمثل.
وصف وزير الطاقة جورج لاكوتريبس خلال حديثه في مؤتمر صحفي عقب حفل التوقيع اتفاق اليوم بأنه "معلم هام آخر في برنامج الطاقة لجمهورية قبرص المستمر رغم الصعوبات".
وقال الوزير القبرصي إن قبرص "ستصبح أيضاً مصدراً بديلاً لإمداد الطاقة للاتحاد الأوروبي، متخذة خطوة أخرى نحو تنفيذ رؤية دول المنطقة لإنشاء ممر للغاز الطبيعي في شرق البحر المتوسط".
من جانبه أعرب كيث إليوت نائب رئيس شركة نوبل إنرجي عن ارتياحه لتوقيع تراخيص الاستغلال، وقال "إن هذا اليوم يشهد بدء طريق تطوير حقل أفروديت".
توفر خطة التطوير والإنتاج الخاصة عائدات متوقعة لقبرص تبلغ 9.3 مليار دولار في السيناريو المتوسط والأكثر قبولا على مدى 18 عاماً والتي تبلغ حوالي 500 مليون دولار سنوياً.
ووفقاً لهذا السيناريو، تم تحديد متوسط سعر البرميل 70 دولاراً في عام 2022 بمعدل زيادة 2% وبكميات الغاز الطبيعي المحسوبة البالغة 4.1 تريليون قدم مكعب.
وقال لاكوتريبس إنه في جميع السيناريوهات الثلاثة التي يبلغ سعر النفط فيها 50 دولاراً أو 70 دولاراً أو 80 دولاراً للبرميل، فإن الإيرادات التي ستحصل عليها قبرص تتجاوز 50%.
وأضاف أيضاً أن خط الأنابيب الذي يربط حقل غاز أفروديت بمحطة إيدكو للغاز الطبيعي المسال غير مدرج في خطة التنمية وسيتم مناقشته مع الائتلاف.
