ZAGREB, Jan 13 (Hina) - A total of 297 immovable and movable properties were sold via the e-auction system in the last quarter of 2018, and 1,644 have been sold since 2015, the Financial Agency (FINA) said earlier this week.
Between the beginning of October and the end of December last year, 1,184 public electronic auctions were held at which 1,117 immovable and movable properties were put on sale. Most of them (820) did not attract the interest of prospective buyers, while 297 were sold.
In the final quarter of last year, 125 properties were auctioned off in enforcement proceedings, 171 in bankruptcy proceedings and only one in insurance proceedings.
In the last four years, 8,704 auctions have been held, with 4,599 properties on sale. Slightly over a third, or 1,644, were sold, while 2,955 did not attract any interest.
During that period, 725 properties were sold in enforcement proceedings, 924 in bankruptcy proceedings and two in insurance proceedings.
Data from the Register of Immovable and Movable Properties show that currently 4,535 immovable properties are on sale in enforcement or bankruptcy proceedings, their value ranging from zero to HRK 98.2 million (EUR 13.2 million); 309 movable properties, valued between HRK 150 (EUR 20) and HRK 65.8 million (EUR 8.9 million), are also on sale.
