Business confidence has risen in Italy this month but consumer confidence has declined, Istat said on Thursday.
    The national statistics agency said its consumer confidence index decreased from 97.6 points in October to 95.0 in November.
    But it said its IESI business-sentiment indicator rose from 94.4 to 96.1 points.
    The market service confidence climate improved from 95.1 to 97.7, the retail confidence climate rose from 105.2 to 107.3 and the index for manufacturing climbed from 88.4 to 89.6.
    The construction confidence climate, however, worsened, dropping from 103.3 to 102.6 points.
